Basic Security for your Wireless Network

Anybody can set a Wireless Network nowadays, they come in bundles from your hardware store.

Just unpack it, connect you network cable en power up the device, your running..

But there a some basics security measures to prevent some basic hacking on your network.

• Change the Standard SSID and choose the option to hid the name broadcast name.
• Change the Standard User name and Password of the device
• Use at minimum a WEP key, even better a WPA key or go for a full Radius Authentication server.
• Fill the local table with authenticated MAC addresses
